Nightmare on 140th Steet!

Aye yi yi...where do I begin. Well as you know, from my previous post Josh had his tonsils removed last Tuesday. I started to feel a little icky last Saturday, achy sore throat. Woke up Early Sunday about 4AM with what I thought was full on streph throat...huge tonsils, with a lovely dusting of snow on them :). Dr. Sadie had seen this before and thankfully had an antibiotic on hand that the Dr. had given me before our trip in case I got the Streph Josh had months ago. I promptly took the first 2 pill dosage. Praying this would all go away very quickly, I can't go down now! Got a lot riding on me with tonsil boy a 2.5 year old and 7 month old needing my TLC. Just my luck, each day got worse...(Oh Lord, why, why???). Monday night was the deal breaker, I broke down and called my wonderful Momma in tears.."I can't do this, I need help." Of course she came to the rescue and she along with Josh (finally) became worried as my temp reached 104. She called a nurse and it slowly came down, then spiked back up in the AM. Off to the Dr. , where I should have been Sunday AM apparently. Well it turns out the Dr. said he doesn't think it's Streph as the antibiotic I was taking should have helped by then and will take away Streph if that's what it actually is. Dr. ordered a full blood work up, as he thinks I have MONO...WHAT!?!? Again, I don't have time for this!!! Needless to say, I leave with a steriod prescription to reduce my tonsils from closing (literally they were closing in!) and a mighty antibiotic...oh and less blood than I walked in there with. :) Moral of the story...don't play Dr. just GO! I'll keep you posted, we should have the tests back soon...

Open wide and say AHHHHHHH

So Josh had his tonsils removed on Tuesday. Some of you will know this has been WELL overdue! Poor guy has suffered many bouts of tonsilitis since a kid. Thankfully he will not be seeing the Dr. to say "Ahhh" anytime soon. Until then, Momma's taking care of 3 baby boys...ugh. :)

Like Father, Like Son...

As many of you know Josh is an avid 'Yard Guy', any chance he gets he loves to get out there and edge, weed and mow the perfectly manicured lawn. Naturally there is a method to this madness the lines MUST all go a certain way. In such a way that you can see the light and dark pattern in the grass. Of course having the greenest lawn on our street is his constant goal as well. I don't even what to know what he spends on seed and fertilizers each year. His comment the other day was.."Hon..I think the neighbors are trying to catch up, I've seen them out there seeding and now they are mowing like I do!" D.O.R.K.!!!
Levi is finally over his fear of the sound of the lawn mower. He has realized how cool it is to mow with Dad. I heard Josh tell him "alright buddy, time to go mow the front, let's go. You have a lot of work to do buddy!" So cute...

Life is Wuf!

This weekend while Greg & Kara were away in S.F., Tia & Red had their typical 'time of their lives...' In between wrestle mania there was a need for some much needed R & R. It's a hard knock life. They are certain the double lounger is just for them!

Eye Drops and Goo...Ewwwwww

Oh fun times...when Levi woke from his nap a couple days ago I noticed his right eye didn't look "right". Thankfully (I think?) I had the pleasure of pink eye with Greyson at 6 weeks old (poor, poor baby), so I was all too familiar with what was going on with Levi's eye. An added bonus if I may was that I still had the remaining eye drops from Greyson. Since I was able to catch it so quickly it was literally almost 100% better 24 hours later. However, I must share with you the delight it is to put eye drops in your 2 year olds eye BY YOURSELF. As Josh & I did it together the night before, Josh holding down his body while I pried his little eye open and applied the drops - surely this would be impossible on my own! Off to the store I went to purchase some bribbery power. Now some of you know I may have one of the pickiest 2 year old eaters around, definately not one to try new things. I just assumed he would love candy, what kid doesn't right? Being that he's never really had it, he wasn't about to try it! I tried licorice...nope...gummy bears...nada...finally the organic chocolate alphabet cookies were the hit...aha! So I explained that Mommy has to put these drops in your eye and for each drop you get a cookie. 10 minutes after Levi walks over to me..."Ah Momma, a eye, a eye...a cookie?" Smarty pants! Literally worked like a charm and 24 hours later our mission was complete...ahhh

Easter Sunday 3.23.08

The sun peeked out in the late afternoon, just enough for a little egg hunt.

Here's a little clip of our crazy haired (the Trump) Greyson Jax gabbering away at 6 months.

"Brubbers" 3.14.08

Levi adores his little "brobber" and Greyson thinks Levi is funny stuff...love that they love each other...

6 months and ready for solids...??? 3.11.08

Not so much, our little peanut leads you to believe he's loving the introduction to solids...not a fan! He spits it all back out and shudders at it all, even the sweet stuff! Silly boy...

Two of my three...3.10.08

Sun kissed and well rested, my 3 boys are so lovely...;)

Soaking up Scottsdale 3.4.08-3.10.08

We all enjoyed our much antisipated yearly Spring trip to Scottsdale, AZ. Levi, played & played & played ALL day everyday! It was much needed fun in the sun. Wish we were still there on these rainy, cold Seattle days...

The bigger the better 3.1.08

You can never protect those precious big eyes enough!

One happy 5 month old! 2.23.08

So, it's been a few months and I'm far behind. But I'm chosing to update rather than nap with the boys today. :) Time does fly, especially when your day is comsumed with these fun boys. Here is our sweet little Greyson with his crazy hair and "Disney Eyes" as Auntie Carlee calls them, so pretty and dreamy.
